The Surine Protocol Series III is an ergonomically designed instrument with performance in mind. Its reduced-size headstock, slender neck profile and upper horn extending to the 12th fret ensure balance of the instrument, regardless of string configuration, for both standing and sitting positions. Its large double-cutaways allow total access to the upper register. The neck pickup is positioned away from the end of the fingerboard to accommodate slapstyle technique. The bridge pickup is positioned under specific harmonics to achieve superior fingerstyle tone. The electronics are configured to provide maximum versatility within a simple and unobtrusive layout.

Solid wood body wings constructed from Honduras mahogany, rock maple or alder, combined with a rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a rich sonic spectrum with very defined lows, mids and highs.
